Neighborhood Improvement

Beautiful Logan NeighborhoodFostering neighborhood pride and helping residents solve matters affecting where they live. Through coordination of various City departments' responses to neighborhood problems and requests for assistance, we ensure that limited resources of the City are directed to the highest priorities of the neighborhoods. What's more we strive to involve residents in taking responsibility for solving issues and concerns in their neighborhood.

The citizens' advocate, Neighborhood Improvement Division sees that zoning ordinances are enforced. We lend a hand by improving the appearance of neighborhoods, reducing over-occupied homes, regulating off-street parking, and removing hazards.

The Neighborhood Improvement compliance process requires that concerned citizens report issues affecting neighborhood wellbeing. Enforcement of specific code violations is complaint based; aside from neighborhood concerns having a compelling interest. Gaining compliance of the Logan City Municipal Code is an important public activity and essential to our community welfare.

Community Development's Neighborhood Improvement office entails administration of the Land Development Code (LDC), which is Title 17 of the Logan Municipal Code.
