Refuse Collections
The Logan City Environmental Department has contracted with the 19 cities, towns, and unincorporated areas throughout Cache County to provide residential and commercial solid waste and recycling collection. This Team covers the entire 1,165 square miles of Cache County and serves more than 94,000 people.
New automated cans can be picked up at the Environmental Department or delivered for a fee.
2009 Holiday Collection Schedule for Garbage and Recycling
Please be aware that Logan City observes the following holidays and collection services are indicated as following. Please have your cans out the next day after the Holiday for pick-up unless otherwise specified. There is extra recycling collection over the December holidays, starting around Christmas. Please see your collection calendar for more deatils.
Keep in mind that weather conditions may factor in to collection schedules. If road conditions are hazardous due to inclement weather, recycling and garbage collection may be postponed in certain areas until road conditions are safe.
Please remember to have cans out on your curb by 7:00 AM and placed at least 4 feet from other objects.
2009 Holiday Schedule Changes
Pioneer Day: There will be no collection on Saturday as indicated on the schedule. Friday and Monday collection routes will run on Monday, July 27th with the possibility of some of Monday routes picked up on Tuesday, July 28th. In order not to be missed make sure your cans are out on the curb by 7:00 am.
