Environmental Education Program

Logan City Environmental Department provides the following FREE programs and services to Cache County residents:


  • Classroom presentations (recycling and/or composting, emphasis on 3rd grade State core curriculum)

  • Landfill tours (landfill operations, recycling, hazardous waste, & composting)

  • Recycling & Composting presentations  for special groups (scouts, church groups, service clubs, etc.)

  • Wastewater wetlands tour

  • Educational Display (events such as: Home & Garden show, Science Fairs, Bear River Celebration, Free Fishing Day, County Fair, etc.)

Utah’s non-profit environmental education organization has a strong resource base for curricula materials on recycling, water, wetlands and local links.

The Education staff provides the following services to Cache County residents:
