Public Education
Logan has three firefighters that, in addition to fighting fires or performing medical care, act as Public Education Specialists. These three firefighters spend a great deal of time educating our citzens about the dangers of fire, smoke, carbon monoxide, and more.
Logan also takes part in the Cache Valley Fire Public Education Coalition, which includes many other fire departments in Cache Valley. We feel that the best and most cost efficient way to fight fire is prevent it from starting in the first place. In pursuit of that goal, the coalition routinely places safety advertising in the local newspaper, several radio stations, many movie theater screens, and an electronic sign board.
