Haz-Mat
Logan City's Hazardous Materials team (HazMat) is specially trained to identify and deal with emergency situations involving hazardous materials. There are thousands of new chemicals being produced each year and identifying and dealing with them can be a challenge.
The Logan HazMat team is part of the Cache County HazMat team which involves firefighters from every station in the valley. Often times the spill of hazardous materials will injure someone. The ambulances and the hospitals also have to be prepared to deal with patients who have been comtaminated. Here you see two paramedics on an actual call as they prepare to treat and transport possible victims.
