The mission of the Logan Fire Department is to provide timely and effective emergency response, fire prevention practices, and fire and life safety public education.
All Logan firefighters are trained Emergency Medical Technicians or Paramedics and are on duty 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. In addition to responding to approximately 3000 fire and medical incidents each year, we also respond to concerns such as smoke or carbon monoxide alarms, technical rescues, hazardous materials incidents. etc. The Logan Fire Department also performs more than 1,500 fire prevention inspections of new and existing local businesses annually and conducts nearly 150 public safety education presentations and station tours a year. We visit schools, church groups, and civic organizations.and coordinate with local businesses to provide public safety information at their events. As a lead partner with other fire agencies in Cache Valley, we regularly place public safety advertisements in the local newspaper, on several radio stations, and on all of the movie theater screens in Cache County.
