Energy Conservation Programs:

The 2009 Holiday Light Trade-In is over for the this season.  Check back with us in 2010 to see what programs we offer for holiday lights.

 

  1. Purchase new LED holiday lights
  2. Come to Logan City Environmental Department (450 N. 1000 W. in Logan) between 11/19/2009 and 12/23/2009 (Monday - Friday 8 am to 5 pm) and bring the following items:
    • Used holiday lights (up to 5 strands)
    • A completed LED lighting application (available by clicking here)
    • Original UPC code from new LED packaging
    • Itemized purchase reciept for new LED lights
    • The wattage of your NEW LED lights***
      • ***Watts can usually be found on the package or on the package insert.  If not, bring a strand of your LEDs to the light exchange or record the volts and amps from the package insert.
  3. Logan City will have your old lights recycle and put a credit on your Logan City Utility Bill.
