Rules For City Parks
- Confetti, piñatas and water balloons are not allowed in city parks.
- The use of loud speakers, public address systems, or amplified music (portable stereos) is prohibited without prior permission of the Parks Superintendent.
- City ordinance dictates that all parks close at dusk.
- Drinking fountains are the only water source available in city parks.
- Please do not remove tables from reservable areas.
- Vehicles are restricted to designated parking areas only.
Absolutely no vehicles are allowed on the grass.
- No alcoholic beverages allowed on park property.
- Smoking is NOT permitted in any city park.
- No littering. Leave areas in good, clean condition.
- No domestic pets allowed unless posted otherwise.
- No weapons or firearms allowed on park property.
- Due to liability and culinary issues, dunk tanks are not allowed.
- Sports should be played in designated, unreserved areas only.
- Use of metal detectors in city parks is prohibited.
- Do not use barbecue units on park picnic tables.
- Portable fire pits are prohibited.
- No soliciting, sale of merchandise, tickets, or services
permitted on park property.
- Inflatable play structures need prior approval.
