Special Event Policy
A daily Special Event fee of $300 (includes park reservation fee) will be charged for groups that have the following:
- Charge a gate fee or charge participants (for profit events)
A daily Special Event fee of $150 (includes park reservation fee) will be charged for groups that have any of the following:
- Band/amplified music
- Fund-raising Activity (over 95 decibels)
- Inflatable (s) (additional insurance required)
- Caterer
- Event open to the public
- Wedding and/or reception
- Groups of 150 or more
Requirements:
- Detailed list of activities to be conducted be submitted in writing to the Parks Division Manager at least 30 days prior to the scheduled event. Must include type of event, activities, area (s), date, size of group, and any other needs. Approval will be based on availability of requested date. Mail request to: Logan Parks and Recreation Dept. - Security provided by Logan City Police Department (two officer minimum dependent on type of event). Fee is $35 per hour, per officer. Contact Logan City Police at (435) 716-9340.
- Call Business Licensing at (435) 716-9230 to see if a business license is required.
- Special events held at Willow Park or Central Park may require the reservation of both reservable areas.
