How do I adopt a zoo animal?
It's easy! All you have to do is fill out an application and drop it in the mail.
Who can become a "foster parent"?
Individuals, couples, school groups, clubs, companies, anyone can adopt an animal.
Do I get to take the animal home or play with it at the zoo?
No. Sorry but all adopted animals remain in the zoo and we do all the work of feeding and caring for the animal here. Your donation goes towards the care, feeding, enrichment, and enclosure improvements of the adopted animal.
What do I get?
Your name on our zoo adoption board, a color photo certificate of adoption (featuring your adopted animal), and the zoo's gratitude.
