Current Projects
Roads Closed Today
Park Avenue will be closed from 600 South to 1000 South on Wednesday, Nov. 4 and Thursday, Nov. 5. Local traffic only. We are installing a drainage pipe across Park Avenue at 780 South, so residents will have to enter from either the North or South end, depending on which side of 780 South they live on. Call 716-9642 with questions.
Please note that not all road closures are performed by the Street department. Other city departments, as well as private contractors, can close a road when necessary. If you have any questions about road closures, call us at 716-9642.

We are replacing/installing sidewalk, curb and gutter, storm drainage, etc., on 600 West from Center Street to 200 South.
We are patching roadways throughout the city. If you see a pothole or area that needs to be patched, please report it by calling 716-9642.
We are cleaning grates and catch basins throughout the city, as well as repairing and replacing signs as needed.
We are sweeping all streets. We try to sweep each street at least twice a year. Higher-traffic streets are swept more often.
We are painting crosswalks, turn arrows, street lines, red curb, etc.
We are also replacing sidewalk and curb and gutter throughout the city.

Throughout the year we sand and plow streets; install, repair, and clean grates; install and repair signs; sweep the streets; paint street lines, school letters, crosswalks, and turn arrows; remove graffiti; install and maintain sidewalk, curb and gutter, and corners; patch potholes; clean gutters; mowing; concrete hazards; and barricade and sign for events.
We have also Chip & Sealed roads throughout the City.
