TO AVOID FLOODING - NOTHING SHOULD BE LEFT IN GUTTERS
Spring Cleanup usually begins the third week of April. This year we will pick up green waste only for spring cleanup. The amount picked up will be limited to 12 cubic yards per household. this would be an accumulation of approximately 20' x 8' x 6' or one dump truck load. Materials must be no longer than 6 feet in length or larger than 12 inches in diameter. Be sure to place your Green Waste away from objects (such as trees, water meters, mailboxes, and fire hydrants) so it can be collected and recycled.
To participate, place your Green Waste in piles or stacks on the parking strip (not in the gutter or on water meters) before April 17. Items Accepted for Spring Cleanup include Green Waste (limbs, grass, leaves, etc) Items not accepted for spring cleanup include large trees, root balls, commercial debris, or any kind of junk.
Please be aware that spring cleanup has a one-time pick up policy. Materials placed in the parking strip after April 17 will not be accepted and it will be the responsibility of the individual placing the materials to dispose of them.
