Public Works Department
The Public Works Department provides superior services and infrastructure to make Logan a place everyone would want to call home. Our services are so integral to life in Logan that you may not even realize we're serving you. But each time you use a crosswalk to cross a busy street, drive on a freshly snowplowed road, or drink a glass of water from your tap, your enjoying the services of the Public Works Department.
The Facilities Division of the Public Works Department is responsible for maintenance of city buildings excluding the Parks and Recreation. The Fleet/Shops Division maintains and repairs vehicles and equipment for all city departments. The Engineering Division provides a broad range of design, construction management, surveying, transportation, and development related services. The Mission of the Water & Waste Water Division is to supply high quality water to all our customers in Logan City at the lowest possible rates. The Street Department provides professional, timely, and comprehensive support services responsive to the needs of our community for surface transportation and storm water management and control.
